It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Moffett of Benton, Louisiana, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on January 6, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sr. Moffett and Helen Moffett; his brother Harold Jr.; his siblings-in-law, Peggy Moffett and Tommy McWilliams; his nephew Tommy Ray McWilliams; and his niece Heather Moffett.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Moffett; his children, Chris Moffett (Shannon) of Shreveport, Jeremy Moffett (Shannon) of Shreveport and Holly Godfrey (Quen) of Benton; his grandchildren, Rachel Ellis, Emily Moffett, McKenna Godfrey, Colin Harris, Abagale Lewis and Hannah Vowell; and his siblings, Virginia McWilliams of Haughton, Rodney Moffett (Patti) of Karnack, TX and Donna Fair (Forrest) of Haughton.
Serving as pallbearers are Joel Fair, Rusty Craig, Evan Ellis, Colin Harris, Joey Brickner and Brandon Mitchell, In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Believers Worship Center.
