As Gerald Allen departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gerald Allen may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gerald Allen leaves behind.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Dillahunty Sandidge; his sons, Allen Sandidge (Becky) of Minneola and Scott Sandidge of Montgomery, Texas; and his sister Deborah Lafitte (Larry) of Shreveport. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two stepchildren, five step grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
