He was predeceased by: his parents, Laster Bundy and Aline Merritt Bundy; and his sister Beth Mitchell (Hilman). He is survived by: his wife Deanna Bundy of Benton; his sons, John Dudley Bundy, Jr. (Vicki) of Benton and Julian Price Bundy (Holli) of Vivian; his sister Kathryn Teague (Terri) of Jasper; his grandchildren, Annsley Bundy Rice (Peyton) of Mooringsport, Garrison Bundy (Maggie) of Choudrant, Breanna Bundy Fletcher (Adam) of Mandeville, Alaina Bundy Bevel (Parker) of Dixie and Ava Bundy of Vivian; and his great grandchildren, Rory Rice, Agnes Rice, Jane Joy Fletcher and Collins Bundy.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that financial contributions be given to the building fund at Cypress Baptist Church.
