He is survived by: his wife Agnes Thornton (Simien); his children, Lisa L. Thornton (Tony Norwood) and Robney Ealie Thornton (Elaine Fuller); and his sister Ophelia Thornton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
