She was predeceased by : her husband William Edward Cook (Bill); her parents, Robert Hardin George (Jack) and Johnnie Tina Foster George; and her siblings, Asilee George (Priss), Bobby Jack George, Peggy Evelyn George Coffman and Franklin Foster George.

She is survived by : her children, James Edward Cook and Susan Carol Cook Moulard; her granddaughters, Carrie June Murphy Miller and Angela Elaine Murphy; her great grandchildren, Austin William Murphy and Ethan Cole Miller; her sisters, Carol June George McReynolds and Judy Kay George Emery; and her sister-in-law Eddie Sue Cook Smith. She is also survived by extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, planned memorials may be made to Bernice United Methodist Church at 202 8th Street, Bernice, LA 71222.
