He is survived by : his mother Phyllis Grubbs Mangum; his stepfather Jason King; his brother Dustin Nolan (April Allen); his stepsisters, Morgan, Jessica and Sarah King; his nephews, Bobby Ray Nolan and Cohen Allen; and his close friend Lauren Cunningham. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and friends.

“I am so saddened to hear of Christopher's passing. I had the pleasure of meeting Chris when he lived in Dallas, and I can tell you he was the kindest, caring, and was always willing to help a friend when they needed help. He always seemed to see the good side of life - even during the most troubling, uncertain times. I can't believe that he is no longer with us and I hope that his mom and family know how much of an impact he made in not only my life but every person he came in touch with.”
