Dinger Sr.; parents: Melvina Tabor Written and William Written Sr.; sisters: Evaline Written Sons, Edna Written Dinger, and Virgie Written Lodrigue; brothers: William Written Jr. and Cornelius Written; great-granddaughter: Bridgett Dinger; great-grandson: Alex (A. J.) Dinger; daughter: Sandra Lee Dinger Marshall (Houston Marshall); daughter: Sue Ellen Dinger Morgan (Hank Morgan); son: Bernie J. Dinger Jr. (Christine Stives Dinger); other: Mo Seneca; and nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, twelve great-great-grandchildren and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lighthouse Community Church (3801 LA-182, Berwick, LA 70342). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Berwick Memorial Cemetery.
