She was predeceased by: her parents, James Rester and Virgie Cooper Rester; her sons, Steven Stewart and Johnny Penton; her sister Dorothy Whittington; her granddaughter Ashley Carden; her son-in-law Raymond Robin; her nieces, Rita Barrone and Bonnie Cooper; her great-nephew Baby Walter; and her fiancé Shelby Talley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Robin and Kim Lamparski; her sister Linda Grant; her grandchildren, April Villani, Suzette Penton, Brittany Whaley and John Lamparski, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Suzanne Penton; her great grandchildren, Ray-Ray, Austin Cooper, Kaden Carden, Drake Doyle, JJ Lamparski III, Christian Whaley, Jordan Doyle, Gabe Rodrigue, Jaxton Carden and Lil Kirk Martineau III; her nieces, Sharron Ishee and Michelle Pomes; and her great-nephew Ashton Grant.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Et Brown-McGehee Funeral Home (610 Ave F, Bogalusa, LA 70427). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Et Ponemah Cemetery (1136 Louisiana Ave, Bogalusa, LA 70427).
