She was predeceased by: her parent Maxie. She is survived by: her daughter Joanne Stringer Pigott; her grandchildren, Shonda Pigott, Serena Crumedy (William), Candy Stringer, Kirby Dean Kayler McGown, Shedrick Smith and Sherman Smith; her siblings, Letha Pearl Alexander and John Hatcher Sr.; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Stringer. She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren.
