He was predeceased by: his parents, Artheria Watterson and Jewel Ephraim; his aunt Willie Mae Ephraim; his siblings, Lurse, Oscar, Michael, Larry Sr. and Joan Watterson Courett; and his siblings-in-law, Lawrence Courett, Charley Simon, Clarence Jenkins and Renee Watterson.

He is survived by: his children, Monica O'Ree (Fred) of Bogalusa and Robert Reynold (Tarnish D.) of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; his siblings, Artheria Watterson (Shane) of Houston, TX, Sharon "Penny" Jenkins of Houston, TX, Debra Watterson of Houston, TX, Joyce Elaine Watterson of Houston, TX, Robert Watterson and Chester Watterson (Debra) of Houston, TX; his siblings-in-law, Lazette Watterson, Ellen Watterson of Houston, TX and Charles Lester of Bogalusa, LA; his close friend Marcus Tilman; Jewel Marie Simon of Bogalusa, LA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
