With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gercia Lee Lewis Richardson of Bogalusa, Louisiana, born in Bassfield, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 14, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, T. J. Lewis and Mattie Holloway Lewis; her husband Alvin Richardson Sr.; her sons, Alvin Jr., William J. and Sterling K. Richardson; and her grandparents, Eugene and Alice Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Terria R. Boyd of Bogalusa, LA, Rodney Richardson of Gonzales, LA, Russel Richardson of Houma, LA, Benjamin Richardson (Sharon) of New Iberia, LA and Vernon Richardson (Ora) of New Iberia, LA; her daughter-in-law Julie T. Richardson of Lafayette, LA; and her sister Mary Ruffin (Lee) of Houma, LA. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
