She was predeceased by: her parents, Modez Williams and Hattie Owens Williams; and her siblings, Joyce Turberville, Leona Rivera, Caleb Williams, Ruth Frazier and Bradly Williams.

She is survived by: her children, Myron Freeman (Joyce), Charles Freeman (Donna) and Beverly Williams; and her sister Neva Heubel.
