He is survived by: his son Joseph Penton; his stepchildren, Billy Gay, Courtney Miley and Felicia Dixon; his grandchildren, Callie Helton and Enzo Cangelosi; his siblings, Hubert "Goat" Penton (Joi), Maggie McMahon (Mac) and Mable Dyson; his aunt Nellie Gipson; and his uncle Billy Gipson. He is also survived by numerous other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home (216 Alabama Ave, Bogalusa, LA 70427). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
