He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Clarence Robinson, Sr. and Vergie Lee May Robinson, Sr.; his grandparents, Monroe and JoAnna Thompson May; his son Jackie D. Robinson; his siblings, Clarence Robinson, Jr. and Linda Paulette Bell; and his siblings-in-law, Roosevelt Nunnery, Walter James, Melissa Robinson and Charlotte Fox Robinson.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Robinson of D'Iberville, Mississippi and Rosalyn Robinson-Smith (Patrick) of Bogalusa, LA; his stepchildren, Robert Magee (Dorcas), Crystal Magee of San Diego, TX. and O'Bryan Magee of Bogalusa, LA; his grandchildren, Joshua Robinson, De'Zyriah Rankins, D'Sha Rankins, Khalil Smith, Patrick Smith, Jr. and Christian Robinson; his great grandchildren, Sian Robinson, Joshua Robinson II, Remington Webb II, D'Marielle Bickham, J'Oir Hooks and J'Ari Hooks; his stepgrandchildren, Jamorian Magee, Jamal Magee, Laila Magee, Logan Magee, O'Bryan Magee, Jr. and Ezra Magee; his godchildren, Christian Holloway and Lamesha Holloway of Bogalusa, LA; his siblings, Robert Charles Robinson (Brenda), Elder Victor Robinson, Sr., Ceasar Robinson (Casandra), Anthony Robinson, Sr. (Yolanda) of Bogalusa, LA, Ricky Robinson (Aleshia) of Angie, LA, Mary Louise Robinson, Linda Nunnery, Victoria Jefferson, Yvonne James, Willoya Magee (Fredrick) of Bogalusa, LA. and Letina Robinson; his uncles, Jerry May, Sr. (T. Louise), Perry May (Lucille) and David May (Jessie) of Angie, LA; his aunt Vernell Asper of Irvine, California; and his close friend Vicki Magee of Angie, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Crain and Sons Funeral Home (809 E 3rd St, Bogalusa, LA 70427). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
