He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman J. Jonson and Mary Galoota Jonson; his siblings, Louise Johnson, Herman A. and George A. Johnson; and his nephews, Donald and Jeff Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Henri-Ellen Borde Johnson; his sons, Guy Johnson (Carolyn) and Mark Johnson (Carlyon); his granddaughters, Angie Bringaze (Walter) and Kandon Langston (Richard); his great grandchildren, Anden, Cade and Karalie Langston; his sisters-in-law, Reatha Borde and Patricia Johnson; his cousin Mary Dugan Brignac; and his nephews, Ronald Johnson (Jessie), Ryan Borde and Jason Borde. He is also survived by numerous other relatives, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Superior Avenue Church (1301 N Columbia St, Bogalusa, LA 70427). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
He was very active in community activities with the Rotary for 39 years, Washington Parish Industrial Development Foundation, Red Cross, and many others.
