He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judy Dodds Sanders; his children, Shawn Sanders of Robert and Shari Sanders of Denham Springs; his grandfathers, Mason Sanders, Carson Pigott of Bogalusa and Weston Pigott of Denham Springs; his brothers, Bill Sanders (Trish) of Bogalusa, Roger Sanders of Bogalusa and Michael Sanders (Diane) of Bogalusa; his parents, Arthur Ray "Jack" and Joyce Hall Sanders; his sister Peggy Varnado; his niece Terrie Varnado; and his in-laws, Philip Dodds and Elva Foil Dodds. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home (216 Alabama Ave, Bogalusa, LA 70427). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
