We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2025, William Smith of Bogalusa, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid William farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For William is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his mother Kathy Byrd; and his nephew Bryan Smith. He is survived by: his wife Candace Smith; his children, Brianna Smith, Gracie Smith and Blake Smith; his sisters, Nita Byrd Bickham (Keith) and Christina Smith; and his siblings' children, Darion Byrd, Kayden Bickham and Bella Bickham. He is also survived by two fur babies: "Pup".
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Et Brown-McGehee Funeral Home (610 Ave F, Bogalusa, LA 70427). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
