He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Miller Oney and Phoebe Adean Nowlin; his wife Patricia Ann Morton Oney; his brothers, Leon Oney, Aaron Oney and Alton Oney; and his close friend Romo.
He is survived by: his children, Vicky Snead (Philip), James Oney (Michelle) and Mark Oney (Lisa); his sister Shirley George (Carl); his grandchildren, Lee Ann Molloy (Pete), Jessica Roberts (Jonathan), Brooklynn Oney, Will Law, Jamison Oney, Nathan Oney and Katelynn Oney; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Molloy, Charlee Jane Roberts, Jayden Molloy and Alec Molloy.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in his honor to the Alzheimer's Association and or the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home in Monroe.
