He is survived by: his siblings, Phoebe Leighton of Oregon, Steven Carter of Boise and Kenneth Carter of Oregon; his aunt Rosalie Shockley of Benton, Louisiana; and his cousins, Wayne Shockley of Prattville and Daniel Shockley of Ruston. He is also survived by five nephews and four nieces.
