He was predeceased by: his children, Krystle Carter, Patrick Carter and Ashley Lopez; his father Lowery Carter; and his brother Mike Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Carter; his son Russell Carter (Kathy); his grandson Hunter Clarkston (Kailea Worsham); his great grandchild Colton Lee; his grandchildren, Brayden and Hannah Carter; his son-in-law DJ Lopez; his mother Velma Carter; his brothers, Larry Carter (Wanda) and Terry Carter (Beth Ann); his sisters-in-law, Janice Dumas and Barbara Carter; and his niece Jennifer Womack (Casey Bell). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Aulds Funeral Home (7849 E Kings Hwy, Shreveport, LA 71115).
