He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Smith and Alice Dale Smith; his brothers, Ronnie Smith and Billy Smith; and his grandson Devin Tilley.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel Smith; his children, Belinda Tilley (William) and Brian Barnard (Buff); his granddaughters, Megan Paddie (Brent) and Crystal Foster; his great grandchildren, Stella, Paisley, Brayden and Kinsley; his sister Frances Johnson; and his sisters-in-law, Katie Brown (Jim) and Phyllis Smith. He is also survived by one niece; three nephews; and one great-nephew.
