He was predeceased by: his parents, Frankie Goad and Doris Patterson; his daughter Honey Lynn Chappius; and his cousin Billy Joe Patterson. He is survived by: his sons, Billy Raye Goad, Daniel Ryan Goad and Ted Adam Goad; and his siblings, Allen Duane Smith and Carol Lee Dickens. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
