He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Dare Nitz and Wanda Arlue Nitz. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Nitz; his children, Jamie Oglesby (Stephen), Jeff Nitz (Allison) and Jay Nitz (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Chelsea Keith (James Keith, Jr.), Corey Oglesby, Jayson Nitz (Isabella), Caleigh Oglesby, Jesse Nitz and Joah Nitz; and his great grandchildren, Raelyn Williams and Liam Keith.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Homes - Bossier City (2201 Airline Dr, Bossier City, LA 71111).
