He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Davis and Nell Davis; and his siblings, Gerald Davis, Ruby Smith and Nancy Mangum.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Davis (Donna) of Commerce City, CO, Pateece Hardy of Bossier City, LA and P. J. Oran (Ronald) of Houston, TX; and his niece Linda Matthews. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
