He is survived by: his sons, Ronald S. Bowers and Donald M. Bowers of Bossier City, LA; his granddaughter Jennifer Garcia Ramirez of Oakton, VA; and his sister Mae Lorene "Bootsie" Marcil of Statesville, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
