He was predeceased by: his former wife Jean McHenry Evans. He is survived by: his wife Martha; his children, Joel and Kelly; and his grandchildren, Les, Madi, Bradley, Rebekah and Jeremy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Baylor Scott & White Foundation in the area of Heart Health, in gratitude for the additional years his transplant made possible.
