He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Taylor and Jennie Taylor (Johnson); his wife Donna Taylor (McClanahan); his siblings, Louise Taylor, Helen Taylor, Bernice Polk, Dorothy Taylor, Versa Taylor and Otis Johnson; and his son Demontrez Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Turner, Chris Turner, Alvin Griffin, Curtis Griffin, Janice Dominique, Timothy Griffin, Reginald Mitchell Sr., Terrance Mitchell, Sherry McClanahan, Alicia Howard and Desmond Taylor. He is also survived by his children, brothers, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Boone Funeral Home and Crematory (2156 Airline Dr, Bossier City, LA 71111).
