He was predeceased by: his parents, George Scott Jackson, Sr. and Ethel Turnage Jackson Ivey; his siblings, Billie Jean Argus, Marylee Gordon, Charles Jackson and Jackie Jackson; and his great grandchild Malachi Williams.

He is survived by: his wife Marie Rhodus Jackson; his children, Gregory Jackson (Linda), Pamela Stahlin (Jim) and Michael Jackson (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Kristina, Ellen, Bryan, Joey, Charlotte, Logan, Gentry and Graycen.
