He is survived by: his wife Tommie Sue McCranie Brooks; and his children, Stephanie Kenigsberg of Port Aransas, Texas and Cary Hart Brooks of Rosharon, Texas. He is also survived by grandchildren; eight cherished great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
