It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Peel of Bossier City, Louisiana, who passed away on September 14, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willfred Peel and Mary "Cathy" Peel; his wife Phyllis Peel; his stepson Chad Addison; his brother Jeff Peel; and his brother-in-law Richard McRae.
He is survived by: his children, Shawna Millen (Matt) and Jody Addison (Michelle); his grandchildren, Rhys, Elyn Millen, Caleb, Austin and Aaron Addison; his siblings, William "Billy" Peel (Fran), Rebecca Thibeaux (Greg), Casceil McRae, Shannon Harvey and Kathleen Hirchak (Donald); and his sister-in-law Linda Peel.
