He was predeceased by: his parents, Della LaGrange Adams and Vandon Paul Adams; his brothers, Clifton Adams, Allen Paul Adams and Van Joseph Adams; and his sisters-in-law, Merline L Adams, Pat P. Adams and Faye Broussard Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Ilse Hartmann; his sons, Michael Adams (Aimee) and John Adams; his great grandchildren, Maxwell Reid Adams and Charles Oliver Adams; his siblings, Albert Adams, Edgar Adams, William Adams (Vivian), Marie Schexnayder (Paul) and Patsy Comeaux (John); Alexandra Clare Adams, Mitchell Reid (Lindsey) and Luke Gabriel Adams.
In lieu of flowers, donations can made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his memory.
