It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jake Michael Laurence of Bossier City, Louisiana, born in Minden, Louisiana, who passed away on November 5, 2025, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Jake leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Jake may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his wife Devon Clayborn Laurence of Bossier City, LA; his daughter Olivia Laurence of Bossier City, LA; his parents, Henry Laurence and Cindy Laurence of Dubberly, LA; his sister Carolyn Laurence Havard; his sibling's child Sawyer of Dubberly, LA; his grandmothers, Janie Laurence of Minden, LA and Deva Nell Pearce Kilpatrick of Shongaloo, LA; and his parents-in-law, Alan and Lisa Clayborn of Ringgold, LA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Airline Baptist Church (4007 Airline Dr, Bossier City, LA 71111). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
