He was predeceased by: his parents, Lela Morgan Jones and Howard Jones; his parents-in-law, Dorset Alford, Jr. and Dorothy Alford; his brother-in-law Dorset Alford, III (Bud); and his daughter-in-law Wendi Janway Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Dixie Jones; his children, Matthew Jones (Leanne) and Amanda Jones; his grandchildren, Zoe, Logan, Bryce and Peyton; his siblings, Audie Jones (Diane) and Patsy English (Dennis); his sister-in-law Dot Carson (Russ); and his nieces and nephews, Chase Carson (Liz), Chris English (Rachel), Nathan Jones, Caleb English, Ashley Carson, Crystal Ramsey (Dustin) and Jessica Brown (Alan). He is also survived by grand-nieces and nephews and closest friends.
