He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edmund Caplis, Sr. and Antoinette Helen Serwich Caplis; his sister Margaret Mary Caplis Broussard; and his son Joseph Harold Caplis. He is survived by: his sisters, Cleo, Toni, Lobo and Helen; his cousins, Jack, Paul, Chris, Betty Jane, Mark and Lenore; his children, Joe, Evan, Jeff, Ginny and Maggie; his grandchildren, Noah, Grace, Ava, Josie, John Joseph and Christopher; and his children-in-law, Jonathan and Michelle. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, cousins and friends.
