He was predeceased by: his parents, Josh Dan Halbert and Rita Shoptaw Halbert. He is survived by: his wife Barbie Halbert; his son Josh Daniel Halbert, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Allison Halbert; his stepsons, Luke Opie (Kyleigh) and James Opie (Rachel); and his grandchildren, Josh Daniel Halbert III, Zachary Kyle Halbert, Johnny Opie, Piper Opie, Violet Opie and Evelyn Opie.
