He was predeceased by: his wife Esther Cramer; his parents, Russell Cramer and Clara Cramer; and his brother Lorne Cramer. He is survived by: his children, Lou Ann Hodgson (John) and Kent Cramer (Kaye); his grandchildren, Alec Hodgson (Sarah), Kate Steskal (Ben), Samantha Hodgson, Sydney Cramer and Makenzie Melnick; his great grandchildren, Calvin Hodgson, Clyde Hodgson and Violet Hodgson; and his nephew Don Cramer.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Boone Funeral Home (2156 Airline Dr, Bossier City, LA 71111). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
