He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ellis Maxwell and Mary "Alice" Maxwell; his brothers, Donald Ellis Maxwell and Gale Brison Maxwell; his wife Dona Maxwell of Canton, Illinois.; and his children, David Barnette (Marilyn) of Canton, Illinois, Robin Maddox of Hill City, Minnesota, Joy Mestre of Kilgore, Texas, Michael Maxwell (Donna) of Lombard, Illinois, Dale Maxwell (Mena) of Troy Missouri and Catherine Whitlock (Tommy) of Bossier City, Louisiana.. He was also cherished by 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
