He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Archie McClung and Sarah Wright McClung; his siblings, Lena, Evelyn, Erma, Marie, Iva Lee and Herman; and his daughter Bertha Louise McClung.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy McClung; and his children, Norman "Keith" McClung (Sharon), Suzanne Herman (David), Rose Suire (Harold), Lynn Lyons, Gary Lyons, Nancy Hilliworth, Pam Borders (Barry) and Tim Lyons (Deborah). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
