With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nyoka LaJuan King Austin of Bossier City, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2025 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie King and Alma Elouise Thompson King; her sister Peggy King; and her nephews, Bruce and Charles Holmes.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Ray Austin; her children, Johnny Droddy (Traci), Angel Austin and Eric Austin; her grandchildren, Brittney, Brooke, Kristopher, Andrew, Baili, Julius, Mikaela, Elyssa and Trinity; and her sister Katherine Holmes. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
