It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Euell Porter (Bossier City, Louisiana), born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Euell Porter and Thelma Porter (Horton); his brother Donnie Wayne Porter; his grandparents, Emmett, Sudie Porter, D. A. and Hallie Horton; his parents-in-law, Lamar and Marie White; and his brothers-in-law, Dennis White and Lamar White, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Vivian Porter; his children, James "Jim" Porter, Janice Cox (Keith) and Pam Woods (Chris); his grandchildren, Aidan Skinner, Zack Porter, Zoey Porter, Noah Woods and Morgan Woods; and his brothers, Victor Porter and Steve Porter (Brenda).
