He was predeceased by: his fathers, Wayne Harrelson of Lakeland, FL and Robert E. Dobbins of Richmond, VA.. He is survived by: his wife Paula L. Dobbins of Bossier City, LA; his children, Jeremy Dobbins, Kendra Parks of Keithville, LA, Rebecca, Stephen Breedlove of Haughton, LA, James and Jennifer Dobbins of Bossier City, LA; his grandchildren, Avery, Mason, Bradleigh and Aurora; his sisters, Lucinda, Jerry Sellers of Lakeland, FL and Taylor McGhee of Valrico, FL; and his siblings-in-law, David LaFortune (Sue), Judy Thornton (Dave), Tom LaFortune (Barbara), Amy LaFortune and Dan LaFortune (Lori).
