He is survived by: his wife Donna Crawford Shield; his daughters, Terri Curtis and Shelley Long (Brad Long); his siblings, Mike Shield (Sammie Shield) and Sandra Norton (Charles Norton); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Curtis Brisbin (Jackson Brisbin), Allison Curtis Granger (Brandon Granger), Carlynn Medina (Rey Medina), Tristan Long (Celeste Long) and Wyatt Long; and his pets, Ava and Babs.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bellaire Baptist Church (1210 Bellaire Blvd, Bossier City, LA 71112). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Springhill Cemetery (275 Springhill Church Rd, Ringgold, LA 71068).
