He was predeceased by : his parents, Michael Joseph Stephens (Rachel Stephens) and Rachel Belle Stephens; his brothers-in-law, Ronnie Stewart and Jim Talley; and his close friends, Eddie Vignolo and Billy Creel.
He is survived by : his wife Patricia Hendrix Stephens; his children, Kenneth Wayne Stephens (Sheree) of Shreveport, LA, Mark Randall Stephens of Dallas, TX and Shannon Leigh Lawhead (John) of Austin, TX.; his grandchildren, Madeline Anne Stephens, Mollee Christine Stephens, Matthew Wayne Stephens, Olivia Kate Lawhead and Addison Aubrey Lawhead; his great grandchild Bentlee Stephens; his sisters, Dianne McMullan, Jill Derrick and Elisa Carnley; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Thompson and Dianne Stewart. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
