She was predeceased by: her parents, John Paul and Emma Lucille Shahan; her husband Milton Nix; and her sister Debra Shahan. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Chavarria (Ben), Lance Nix (Rhonda) and Brian Nix (Jinkie); her grandchildren, Chelsea Chavarria, Brandon Nix, Lindsey Golden (Trey), Sage Chavarria, Peyton Nix, Noah Nix and Micah Nix; and her great grandchildren, Hunter and Grey Golden.
