We are sad to announce that on April 26, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Taka S Flippo in Bossier City, Louisiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Yoichi Shibahara and Taki Shibahara (Yamauchi); her husband Wayne Flippo; and her son-in-law PJ Rocks. She is survived by: her children, Michael Flippo (Donna), Joey Flippo (Becky) and Linda Rocks; her grandchildren, Aaron Flippo, Allison NcNaughton, Jessica Stephenson, Melissa Dingler, Jennifer Duvall, Emily Falanga, Mallory Cooper, Sara Oberlander, Melanie Self, Warren Rocks and Coltin Rocks; and her sister Hiroko Shibahara. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Taka's memory by donating to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, stjude.org, planting something beautiful, cooking a favorite meal or celebrating a moment, just like she did every day.
