Ute Tonry Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ute Tonry of Bossier City, Louisiana, who passed away on August 9, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Josef Zimmermann and Maria Zimmermann. She is survived by: her children, Frances Tonry, John Tonry and Patricia Brooks (George); her grandchildren, Tiffany McKinney, Dakota Ridehour, Ryan Tonry, Jessica Tonry, Shawn Brooks (Alethea), Bethany McFall, Malissa Brooks and Cera Brooks (Zachary Nichols); her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Tatum, Drake, Lycan, Oliver and Greyson; and her siblings, Leisel Grasser (Bill) and Karl-Heinz Zimmermann (Heike).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Ute's name to the Shreveport Bossier Animal Rescue.
