It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois Sevin Eschete of Bourg, Louisiana, born in Chauvin, Louisiana, who passed away on May 21, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Erous Eschete; her parents, Wilson Sevin and Julien Henry Sevin; her son Eric Eschete; and her brothers, Houston Sevin, Ulan Sevin and Wilkinson Sevin.
She is survived by: her children, Joan Dryden (Elmer), Linda McMath (David) and Dwayne Eschete (Lynn Ann); her sister Joyce Savin; her grandchildren, John Dryden (Christina), Erica Eschete (Floyd), Michelle Allen (Greg), Tesia Smith (Chad) and Marissa Nugent (Jeffrey); her great grandchildren, Andrew "Cody" Dryden (Brittany), Thomas "Austin" Dryden (Maci), Daniel "Sheridan" Dryden (Jerilyn), Rylan Eschete, Reis Eschete, Robbie Mills, Dryden Mills, Raegan Hardisty (Katie), Kaeley Allen, Tanner Smith and Mollie Grace Nugent; and her great great grandchildren, Tucker, Beau, Mason and Laynie Dryden.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (4355 LA-24, Bourg, LA 70343). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery (4355 LA-24, Bourg, LA 70343).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Lois' life to St. Ann Catholic Church Maintenance Fund.
