She was predeceased by: her parents, Easter Davis and Hannibal Dorsey; her husband Wilbert T. Hill, Sr.; her son Wilbert T. Hill, Jr. of Pop's Café; her granddaughter Natashia Hill; her daughter Cheryl Borne; her siblings, Clementine Boyd, Grace Alexander (Anthony), Alice Evans, Estelle Lyons (Jerry), Ruth McKay, Bertha Brown Howard (Walter), Lester Bailey, Sr., Clarence, Harry and George Dorsey; and her in-laws, Dorothy, Gloria, Warren Sr., Albertine, Roland Hills (Brenda), Carolyn Markey, Lela Williams, Joe (Marion), Melvin (Delores), Clyde (Julia), Donald and Leonard Hill (Sumako).
She is survived by: her children, Gwendolyn Scott (Donald), Garland (Debra), Mathilda, Regina Hill (Lener), Paul Turner and Josie Mae Johnson; her grandchildren, Kyla Lumkins (Brandon), Farrah McKenzie (Kerwin), Tonyaneka, Ashanté Hill, Kimberly McBeath (Kenny), Larry A. Mitchell (Ariane), Justin M. Turner (Brandon), Don O'Neil (Toni) and Kewain Scott; her great grandchildren, Breichel Winchester, Brandon Lumkins, Jr., Imani Gros, Kayiell, Donrell McKenzie, Jr., Faith, Javon, Cameron Coger, Ryan Hill, Kendall, Kasey McBeath, Ariah, Liam Mitchell and SiLynn Scott; her great great grandchildren, Bryce Trepagnier, Blake Vessell and Bryleigh Winchester; her sister Marguerite Dorsey; her siblings-in-law, Barbara Dorsey, Linda Dorsey, Dorothy Hill and Morris Williams; her godson Andre V. Castro; her niece Gwendolyn McKay; and her friend Thelma Alexander LeBeauf. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Airy Baptist Church (13635 Old Spanish Trail, Boutte, LA 70039). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at the Mt Airy Memorial Park Cemetery.
