He was predeceased by: his stepfather Ronald Dorsey; his grandparents, Angerline Feist, Willie Alexander, Sr., Earnestine Paceley and Irving LaBranch; his aunts and uncles, Erma, Leotha Alexander (Tobe), Celestine Williams (Lawrence), Willie Jr., Richard, Allen Alexander (Lizzie Mae), Melvin Honor, Sr. and Brad LaBranch; and his godfather Edward Feist.
He is survived by: his parents, Elizabeth Dorsey and Sterling LaBranch (Samantha); his siblings, Shantrelle LaBranch Nash (Pernell), Twanisha Robinson, Geonnie LaBranch, Tarik Flot and Trey LaBranch; his children, Jamal Smith, Shatece, Cierra, Troylynne LaBranch, Makayla Duncan, Sterling LaBranch, Jr. and Gabriel Anthony; his grandchildren, Kason, Kaia Sandolph and Karsyn LaBranch; his godson Don Murray, Jr.; his aunts and uncles, Walter Alexander (Alta), Nelson Alexander (Mary), Greta LaBranch and Debbie Bullock (Arthur); his great-aunt Ella Mae Feist Murray; and his godmother Debra F. Thomas. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
