He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine "Josie" Authement; and his parents, Adam Felix Authement Jr. and Dora Authement (Pierce). He is survived by: his child Ashley Authement Joyce (John); his grandchildren, Taylor Joyce (Alexis), Caleb Joyce (Allie), Elizabeth Joyce, Samuel Joyce and Jacie Joyce; his great grandchildren, Luke Joyce, Liam Joyce, Lois Joyce, Mia Joyce, Benjamin Joyce and Brooks Joyce; and his brother Felix Adam Authement. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Padua Catholic Church (234 Angus Dr, Luling, LA 70070). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
